EFOY Pro + Solar: 100 % dependable power in any kind of weather

By combining an EFOY Pro with a photovoltaic system, you can eliminate the risk of failure. A hybrid of fuel cell and solar cells combines the best of both technologies.

When the weather’s nice: energy from solar cells.

In a fuel cell plus solar cell hybrid, the solar module is the sole source of electricity when the weather is good. The EFOY Pro waits patiently in standby mode while you generate free electricity from the sun.

When the weather’s bad, it’s dark or winter: energy from the fuel cell

If the weather is bad, the solar cell will not deliver enough current to the battery so voltage drops. Once voltage drops below a threshold level though, the fuel cell cuts in automatically to recharge the battery. Once it finishes charging, it returns to standby mode – automatically.

Cost effective

A hybrid consisting of a fuel cell and solar cells represents a cost-effective solution. Solar cells and hybrid batteries don’t need to be oversized to compensate for spells of bad weather thereby saving space. A relatively small, lightweight hybrid battery is all you need. That reduces stress on mountings and fittings for the battery and the solar cells. The fuel cell consumes fuel only when the weather is bad, which means that fuel cartridges last a lot longer.

Easy to integrate

The Plug & Play feature allows you to combine the EFOY Pro easily with any new or existing solar system.
